sizing

Any size caregiver can use any size "Sling me, Mommy!" ring sling to provide skin-to-skin kangaroo care for a premature infant. However, carrying an older child in a SMM sling requires a properly sized sling. Please note that the length of the sling is determined by the size of the caregiver, not by the size of the baby. To determine the size of SMM sling needed, measure the caregiver from one shoulder across to the opposite hip, then triple that measurement. That is the length of fabric used to make the sling; the finished length will be approximately four inches shorter. The price list is shown below; add $5 shipping per sling.
